Endangered animals

Friday 7th October 2011

Today it is cloudy, but our students are happy. Today is the last day here. Now our pupils are studying endangered animals of Australia, New Zealand, USA, Ireland and South Africa. They love animals. Yesterday our students made a power point presentation about our school and La Rioja, and they made a performance about the enviorenment, the play was "Forest Fire". It was so great! The students from Madrid made a power point about Madrid and a funny role play.
See you tomorrow in Logroño about 15.30- 16.00.

Thursday 6th October. Some camp's photos.

Yesterday we had a great day in Gijón. Our students learnt a lot about plants, dinosours and environment. Here are some photos about the camp.

5th October Today we go to Gijón. The students are OK

Today we are going to the Botanical Gardens in Gijón.

Then we will go to the Jurassic Park Museum.

The weather is fantastic. Our pupils are learning so quick. They are making very nice power point about the enviorement, countries, culture.... Their behavior is not so bad.

Two days after the English Camp our students have a very good relationship with the students from Madrid. They are together in the lessons and they play together in all the games.

Tuesday 4th October Human impact.

All the students had a nice night. Today the topic is Human impact. They are studying the human impact and different English speaking countries around the world: South Africa, Australia, New Zealand, Ireland and USA.

In the second lesson we are going for a walk near the seaside and we will check the human impact in the local area.

The activities are related to different didactic units.

While doing sheets and workshops, students are encouraged to learn specific vocabulary for each Topic and face off new challenges with autonomy, responsibility, respect, organization and team work.

Do you know that the Olympic Games will take place in the camp this year??

Undoubtedly it will be an opportunity to practice sports and prepare the opening and closure ceremonies. Every student will represent an English-speaking country and will have the chance to learn more about each one.

There are also sessions that will take place in the evening, as non-academic activities, such as karaoke, disco, memory game, etc.

Activities revolve around artistic, scientific, multimedia and creative aspects so each day is a new adventure….in English!!!
